Pricking the Vessels - Bloodletting in Chinese Medicine - 1
2011, 180 min.
Bloodletting is an essential acupuncture therapy, and has played a key role in Chinese medical practice from the earliest times. Since bloodletting works directly to quicken the blood and expel stasis, it is especially important in the treatment of chronic degenerative diseases, and pain conditions, diseases in which blood stasis is a primary pattern. This will be an in depth look at bloodletting and its clinical applications.
